The Higgins Group built our lakehouse about 15 months ago. It was clear from the beginning that Ben Higgins was not a passive owner. He was very involved in the detail of assuring our needs were met. The best part of the Higgins Group is that they exude a culture of customer focus. There were challenges along the way, with materials and the need to provide custom solutions regarding space, but those were resolved with unique, thoughtful solutions. Ben and his team have not left our side in assuring that the product they built has continued to meet our expectations.

Ben and Kevin built our lake house, a project I thought I could never take on. Working with them made it not only possible but enjoyable. How often can you say we came in on budget and before deadline? but we did! I have done many renovations on my homes but have never rehired a contractor/builder. Now I will not build with anyone else again!

We moved into our dream home built by Higgins Building Group almost 1 year ago. Prior to signing on with Higgins, we interviewed several local builders. During our first meeting with Ben Higgins, we were impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and warm personality. We used Ben and his team at the Higgins Building Group to build our home a few summers back. They built us a high quality beautiful home. During the construction we had no problems Ben and his team were very good listeners when it came to meeting our needs as well as offering great suggestions. Still to this day, we can call them if we have any questions. As a matter of fact Ben has a key to the house and checks on it for me from time to time.

Our experience with Higgins Building Group was indeed a positive one. There were never any disagreements over anything, because everything was in writing, and planned well. The quality of the workmanship is impeccable. We had 6 months to get out of our house, and we moved in on the day we were supposed to. Timing was perfect. This company also built our son's home, because of the positive experience we had. There were no surprises at the end. This company follows up, and there is a standard 1 year inspection after the construction. Can't beat that.

Higgins Building Group finished my basement which included a nice theater room and wet bar. Very professional group. Mr. Higgins always made himself available to address any concerns or problems. Excellent customer service and great quality work done in an efficient manner. Will be using them again for a covered patio and outdoor kitchen.

As someone who is very much a perfectionist and is really particular with small details, I can say that Ben Higgins and his sub-contractors went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with their work. He was always very polite and courteous and even though I knew he had more than one project, he never failed to make me feel like I was his number one priority. Our home was completed in record speed with the highest attention to detail. Higgins Building Group was the first contractor that we interviewed for our home and after having interviewed 8 more after him, we went back and contracted Ben Higgins. He does top quality work at a very fair price.

Ben helped us through the overwhelming process of our first building project with calm nerves. Our plans called for some unusual features that Ben and his crew were willing and able to tackle. He and his assistants were willing to work with us creatively as we built our retro Cape Cod. Ben was most responsive throughout the process and remains so more than a year after we moved into the house.

Although we began with a framed "spec" house on a beautiful lot on Lake James, Ben and his team of professional subcontractors was able to alter the original plan, incorporate our vision and build our sensational home. During the building process our business relationship developed into a personal relationship making the entire process an extremely pleasant experience. We would highly recommend the Higgins Building Group to anyone seeking to build the home of their dreams.

I don't think my wife will ever recover from the wonderful house you built us in Newton. We have been looking for a house after our move from Newton back to our roots area for 11 months now, and my wife is spoiled to the outstanding job you did. You helped us find a great plan, consulted on lot selection, consulted on all the things we picked out, modified the plan as we wished, and followed up after we closed very timely. I wish you were here so we could have you build us another one.
